Hut Description
Welcome to the Gspaltenhornhütte, which is located in the rear of the Kiental Valley in Berner Oberland! Built upon a rocky ledge at 2455 meters (8054 feet) above see level, it is also part of the first UNESCO World Natural Heritage of the Alps. It is ideally situated for a day trip or overnighters for hikers, alpine mountain hiking, and climbers. Individuals, couples, families, children, small groups, associates, clubs, and companies are with us all equally welcomed! Sleep accommodations  are found in three different rooms. Each bed is equipped with a Nordic Duvet blanket, but a personal sleeping bag may be brought along. Slippers are available. For dinner, we serve your choice of soup, salad or vegetables, a main course, which is then followed by a dessert. A generous breakfast buffet is available, which will ensure a good start to your day with a warm cup of coffee, tea, milk or hot chocolate. Half-board guest are also provided with fresh water or a tea mix to fill their hiking bottles. Whether you will be joining us for breakfast, a morning snack, lunch or an afternoon tea we welcome you all! Whether food or drinks, hot or cold, something delicious awaits you. Visit us as your targeted goal or as a stop on an extended trip.
